Ryan Bell is the CEO of Southbridge Care Homes, a Canadian owner and operator of 47 long-term care homes and 10 retirement communities in Ontario. Since 2012, Ryan has led Southbridge through significant strategic growth, expanding from a single home to a 57-home portfolio as of 2026, including 10 major acquisitions and 10 large LTC redevelopments totaling $750 million.
Under his leadership, Southbridge has built strong operational capacity and governance infrastructure to support this growth, including the scaling of finance, quality assurance, clinical operations, and redevelopment management. In 2026, Ryan is leading a further $1 billion of LTC redevelopment, with all projects on track to begin construction this year.
