The Ontario government celebrated the grand opening of The Village of Ridgeview Court, a new Schlegel Villages long-term care home in Milton that will be home to 192 residents.
“The Village of Ridgeview Court is a place where residents can feel at home, receive compassionate care and enjoy meaningful connections with one another and the wider Milton community. Bringing close to 350 jobs to Milton, it also shows how investing in long-term care strengthens our communities and local economies.
This home carries forward the legacy of the late Ron Schlegel, founder of Schlegel Villages, whose lifelong commitment to a holistic approach to better care helped shape a richer vision of aging. It is a fitting tribute to his belief that older adults deserve every opportunity to live with dignity, purpose and belonging.”
