Unpacking the Silver Lining of Conflict in Family Councils
Family Councils Ontario Webinar: Unpacking the Silver Lining of Conflict within Family Councils
January 31, 2019
2:00 - 3:00 pm
Common issues Family Councils face are the prevalence of conflict and disruptive behavior. Ongoing disputes among Council members and between members and home staff can have negative impacts on the overall collective consciousness and dampen the spirits of those involved. But is all conflict bad? While the term conflict is generally deemed negative, it can have positive effects on our relationships and ability to engage and understand the positions of others.
Designed for Family Council members and long-term care home staff, this webinar will discuss the following:
• Roots of conflict
• Common issues that pose problems within Family Councils
• Resolution strategies and useful tools for turning conflicts into learning experiences.
This webinar will be presented by Tiffany Fearon, FCO Client Services Coordinator.
Online registration not available.
