Room 217 Music Care Conference: Music, Aging and Wellness

Music Care Conference Waterloo will be held on Saturday November 17 at the CIGI Campus in the innovative city of Waterloo, Canada. The Laurier Centre for Music in the Community is partnering with the Room 217 Foundation to bring together stakeholders in music and care to provide information and inspiration around music, aging and wellness.

Participants will experience music in a way that contributes to quality of life, and aspects of aging. Expert keynote speakers and performers as well as local music care innovators will present through academic research, clinical care, and life experience. Participants may include healthcare professionals, volunteer and family carers, care recipients, musicians, students of the arts and social sciences and opinion leaders. Other health arts modality stakeholders will find this conference beneficial to the growing use of arts in care in Canada.
