Meaningful Meals Program created by residents at Henley Place

Residents at Henley Place in London wanted a program where they could give back the community, and chose to make lunches for participants at the Men’s Mission, a homeless shelter in London.

Once a month the residents prepare and deliver a lunch meal: 15 – 20 residents get together and plan a menu, shop for supplies, prepare the meal, package and label the meal, and if they are able, they get on a bus and deliver the meals to the clients at the Men’s Mission.

Residents are involved and drive all steps of the process. This year, the residents of Henley Place also decided to donate to the Men’s Mission as their charity of choice. Mission’s Services was overwhelmed at the resident’s generosity. The money will be used to fund Christmas dinner at the Mission.
