MOHLTC Long Term Care Recruitment Site
The Long Term Care Facility Employment Information web site is now live. The web site was Ministry of Health and Long Term Care developed as a joint intiative between MOHLTC Redevelopment Project, OLTCA and OANHSS.
The web site is intended to promote the long term care sector as a dynamic career opportunity and provide job seekers and students with access to specific information on job opportunities and potential employers. Individual sections on the site include:
- General information on long term care as a career choice and types of careers available;
- 'Find a Job Now' which provides links to various job posting boards (e.g. Workopolis) that have job advertisements for long term care employment; and
- a 'facility locator', a searchable database that provides users with the opportunity to obtain location and contact information for individual long term care homes.
