Leading Outside the Box: How Research & Innovation Can Improve LTC Quality and Sustainability
OLTCA's Applied Research Committee, in partnership with the National Institute for the Care or the Elderly (NICE) and the Ontario Long Term Care Physicians (OLTCP), hosted an innovative and action packed day of learning and networking on November 27th, 2009. Sessions and poster displays informed and inspired participants with ideas and solutions for excellent care and resources based in research and delivered in short information packed sessions.

OLTCA’s commitment to research in long term care, geriatrics and aging is guided by the Applied Research Committee (ARC).The ARC includes representation from both member homes and the research community with a focus on promoting the growth of quality long term care research and reducing barriers to research development in long term care.
